Leo
Following osmosis' last post ( fab plants as usual Dave btw) I was intrigued by the flava pic. Here is why: I hasten to add, it was not just the colour. It was sold to me as a hybrid. I had long suspected it may have been mislabelled as I bought two and the other one looks, well, different: What do folk think? The stems are a beautiful red colour. osmosis
The top two photos (lovely plants BTW) are exactly what I have come to expect from the plants sold as flava from wistuba (I have 6 different clones) There is a long running debate whether some or all of these clones are introgressed with N.ovata and some people would refer to them as flava x ovata, which is making further assumptions The third photo looks nothing to do with flava at all What hybrid were they sold as? Leo
What hybrid were they sold as? Both are Wistuba clones sold as N. talangensis x tobaica. Incidentally I also have flava from Andreas as well but it is still small at ~20 cm in diameter so it will be a while before I can compare properly. I wasn't aware of this debate; can you by any chance remember where it took place? I can't see much (or any) ovata in the pictures I've seen.
