Thomas Straubmuller
Hello everyone! I would like to show you some Dionaea of my collection. The plants look so great this year, so i have to show it. I have a few rare Dionaea´s, but they are too small, so it´s not worth to take a photo of them. But i guess these ones are enough for the moment: Funnel trap Crossed Teeth Red Yellow Alien "Bimbo" Sawtooth Red Sawtooth to be continued... Ronnie..
Beautiful plants! The Microdent, Bimbo and finetooth x red look particularly amazing! Been getting some nice weather in germany? Nice set-up also, do they stay there over winter? Regards, Ronnie.

Thomas Straubmuller
Thx guys! @Ronnie: Yes, the weather is fantastic at the moment. Can´t be better. But my water is getting more less the last days... Anyway, temperatures over 30°C and full sun are very good for VFT´s as you can see! I keep the plants during wintertime in my father´s greenhous. I put them outside when the night temperatures are higher than 5°C (April) Best regards, Thomas
alexa
What's the history of Black Pearl? Thanks Alex.

Thomas Straubmuller
Hmm, i cannot say much about the Black Pearl... I get it from German Grower. The traps are getting in the late summer very dark red, almost black... See a photo of my plant from last year here: http://img39.imageshack.us/img39/4344/blackpearl.jpg I keep it under this name... But i don´t know if it is really an own clone? Best regards, Thomas

Thomas Straubmuller
Yes Carlo, you´re right! The microdent is my favourite at the moment. I like the yellow colour! Maybe this will change wenn the Coquillage is getting bigger? The Bimbo is also very beautiful this year! Best regards, Thomas
Hayden
My favourites are the bimbo and the shark x dentate one

Best regards, Thomas microdent and coquillage are my favorite, even if i don't have the second one according to the microdent's colour, i have seen many photos of adult microdent and this green/yellow tonality seems to be it's traditional colour. I like that more than the red microdent ;)

Thomas Straubmuller
Hey guys! ...for the very nice comments! @fish30: Yes, i like it also very much. This is my newest plant i have! And the most interesting thing is - every trap is a little bit different in colour and teeth @Carlo87: Yes, ugly red microdent By the way - you have a spare for me? @Tuuagso: The Finetooth x Red is a really old clone. I guess i have it for almost 5 or 6 years! But i´m wondering that not so many growers have one... Best regards, Thomas
