Great looking moths, aren't they!

Here's a related species - Saturnia pavonia - found in the same area as A.tau. You get S.pavonia in the UK though

Beautiful ! I am not really an insect-loving guy, but I was stunned when i saw it around our house ;-). I believe I saw a Papilio machaon last summer and there are some Sphinxes regulary sucking on our Pelargonias. But I'm not able to tell the species ;-)

Do you collect butterflies, or just on the camera ?
