mobile
Hi, In addition to the CP Photo Finder search add-on I created for Firefox, I have now created one for the Carnivorous Plant Database (http://www.omnisterra.com/bot/cp_home.cgi), available on Mozilla's website, here: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/59610 Currently it is marked as experimental on Mozilla's site. In order to get it to public release I need a few reviews so if you would be kind enough to post a review on the add-on page I would very much appreciate it. Hope this works OK for you, please let me know either way. Thanks, Carl Edited January 23, 2010 by mobile

Can mere mortals do it or do you need a degree in computer science or something ?
mobile
Mark, It's quite basic XML. There' a guide here: https://developer.mozilla.org/en/Creating_O...ins_for_Firefox. Alternatively, Mycroft Project has a search add-on generator: http://mycroft.mozdev.org/submitos.html. There's also a add-on to generate them on your local machine here: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/3682
