bobble
Well Spring is finally reaching Scotland. My plants which I had feared dead through my bumbling attempts at care are starting to come to life. I can't wait to see whats coming this growing season. Maria
Yes, finally spring is here. And I will have my first flowers of sarracenias as as the alata and stevensii are showing a bud. Can't wait to see them...
Rob-Rah
My flava flowers are in full glorious show this week. :-)
Bob H
My alata 'Red Lid' flowers are in the last stages of opening, a petal is poking at at an angle! I also have new pitchers thrusting up on all my Sarras.
alexa
Should'nt be too long now 'til the first flowers open. One of the best times of year. Alex
Guest Dave2150
Yes all my Vfts are sending up nice healthy traps in great abundance !
Loakesy
I've got new pitcher growth on all of my Sarras. I've had one flower that's been and gone and more on the way. My VFT is still looking sorry for itself with absolutely no new growth visible.
Paul O'Keeffe
I'm off to my parents this weekend. Looking forward to seeing my collection :)
Alexis
It looks like the further south you go the more advanced the plants are! I've got 35 sarracenia flowers coming, the highest is about 20cm so far. I'm especially pleased with my favourite leucophylla since it has 3 flowers growing which should be great for hybridisation. All VFTs are growing nicely. My Red Dragon is zooming ahead of the rest, which is strange as it isn't usually the most vigorous VFT.
