dudo klasovity
Hi Iggy! Stunning picture quality and the plants are great as well. Most of my tuberous sundews have not sprouted yet, only d. erythrorhiza ssp. squamosa just shot through the surface. It grows very slow. Is it a slow-grower for you too? I give it 10-18C. Friends told me that it as MANDATORY to use bigger pots. Do you take the tubers out of the pots during the dry period? Thanks for your help. Cheers, François. dionaea_2006
Friends told me that it as MANDATORY to use bigger pots. Do you take the tubers out of the pots during the dry period?Cheers, François. I use the same pots or deeper. You only need to check if in the summer dormancy the tuberous doesn't go too much in depth to avoid rot in the next winter. What's sure is that if you have more space you can you use bigger pots. Iggy...beautiful plants!
Amar
Yes! My D. gigantea has started to grow again, it's the 3rd now that I have the plant (and it's a 2006 plant), am sure it will grow larger than last year. Always exciting to watch.
