Ferreol
Hi all, during my australian trip of this summer here in France, I had the chance to see Cephalotus in wild. The place where they grow: unfortunately, the plants grow in the middle of the cliff which was too breakable to climb up. It explains the bad quality of many of these photos... The yellow spot near the plant, is a coin of 50 euro cents to give scale (approx 25mm or 1 inch), it was one of the rare plants than I was able to reach

mobile
Thanks for sharing... I absolutely love seeing pictures of Cephalotus in their natural habitat. I've always wanted to try to grow one on a vertical surface like they grow in the wild.

Ferreol
Hi George, yes, I was looking for Ceph in a wetland when the only man I saw this day asked me what I was looking for. I answered that i was looking for cephalotus. Then, this man who knows where cephalotus grows showed me a place where i could find it. I'm very lucky to find this man... Ferreol
Thanks all. stupid question here, is that a cliff facing the sea? Yes,it's the sea but it's in an inlet which is very quiet. I think the wawes are never enough strong to reach Cephalotuses...
