twigs
Right before I left for the weekend, I did the first foliar feeding of my Cephalotus' and a Nepenthes. I watered them a bit more than usual due to my absence. I come back today and find a few spots of algae growth in a few of my Ceph pots. No doubt it is in spots where the fertilizer dripped on to the media. For most of my pots, I use a sand top covering, which has prevented any algae growth so far. Any suggestions as to how to get rid of my problem before it spreads? Should I just leave it alone and hope that when the plant returns to regular, drier conditions, it will clear up? Or should I flush the soil to try to get rid of any trace of the fertilizer?
