Pinguicula in Val Badia (Trentino Alto Adige, Italy)

Recommended Posts

Ho to all,

I wish to share with you some cp in habitats I've seen during my last holidays in Trentino Alto Adige, Italy.

All plants have been seen in Val Badia and near areas.

As I am not a great pinguicule expert, please, help in give them a name.

I think they are all P. alpina and P. vulgaris.

Have a good trip !

FIRST LOCATION

I think they're all P. vulgaris

The totally red plants are really beautiful. At first sight, I thought it was Pinguicula poldinii!. However, it is a Pinguicula alpina ;)

Your ID are quite good: plants from the first, second and third locations are all Pinguicula vulgaris. Plants from the fourth and fifth locations are all Pinguicula alpina. If you have pics of the seedpods, I can confirm this ;)
