Guest greenfire
I was checking out the new pitchers on my S. flava the other day when I noticed a spider inside the pitcher. Normaly small creatures falling into CP traps is a good thing. This one didn't become food though. He set up house. I've left the opportunistic spider alone and he seems quite happy where he's at. Chatterer
You send the little punk a few droplets of water until he falls in. I've noticed the same in some of my older pitchers, literally clogging up the opening.

I have found that spiders somehow manage to climb out again, whether it is a thether they lath onto the wall before falling I'm not sure... purple_monkfish
We had one little blighter build a sodding web over the mouth of one of the pitchers! It was pretty amusing actually, taking full advantage of the pitcher plant's inate insect luring I suppose. I think it's gone now, it probably got eaten heh.
