Patrickdryden
Hi I have outside on the window sill (doing very well in the sun lately ), But I need to repot two of my sarracenias as they are in tiny pots and the roots are exposed. I was wondering If i could pot all of my plants into one pot Like this http://www.littleshopofhorrors.co.uk/shop/...Terror-Kit.html I have 4 VFT's 4 Sarra's - 1 Purpurea venosa / 1 Purpurea Hybrid / 1 Hybrid / 1 Sarracenia psittacina 1 cape + loads of seedlings Would i be able to plant them all in one pot? And if so how long would i have before I had to repot them? And finally how much would it cost to do this? This is how they are now.
Loakesy
All of those plants in the photo will be OK in one pot. The only plant that might struggle in the coldest of UK winters is the capensis.
Patrickdryden
Thank you, what soil mix would be best for all of them ?
Alexis
Sphagnum moss peat. The sundew will die back in winter and come back from the roots every spring no problem.
Patrickdryden
Just Pure phagnum moss peat by its self no perlite or anything like that ?
Alexis
You can use perlite, but if your pot will be outside it will float to the top in the rain. You could beb etter mixing with washed, horticultural lime free sharp sand.

jimscott
Not to muddle the advice, and Alexis is far more experienced that I, I like mixing sand and peat and have a top layer of long fibered sphagnum, as that more resembles nature.
