Dode
I found a source of Gem peat. Has anyone used this before?
mobile
Does it state 100% sphagnum moss peat on the bag? If not then you would be best contacting the company to get them to confirm this. Their contact details are HERE.
Dode
Thanks, I did find their website. I have not actually seen the bag in person, so I am unsure. I always think the best advice is found when people have used the peat and had good or bad results. If no one has used this before, I will contact them. (update, seems to be a problem with their site) Thanks again Edited May 5, 2009 by Dode
mobile
I agree but bear in mind that it is possible that the peat is not necessarily sourced from the same bog. This is particularly true if the packager does not have their own bog so they could change the source for cost or availability reasons. I'm in the lucky position of having a local source of peat just a few miles up the road and my plants seem to like it.
