jimscott
On Sunday night we watched a Mr. Bean movie. Mr. Bean's Holiday Some people aren't fond of his brand of humour, but I love his grunts and cheapness and acrobatics.
mobile
Glad to see that at least one American finds Mr Bean humorous I personally find him hilarious but my wife can't watch him.
SamInLondon
I LOVED the oysters in the handbag!
Danny...
Rowan is a clown in it´s truest possible way if you ask me!! Not just the bean carachter..but what about the Black Adder!?..or even just as himself, live on stage, putting your faceial muscles to the test! Huge fan here for sure! One cannot ignore..innovative it be, using a big bucket of whitening chalck, and an even bigger firecracker to do some quick indoor painting! Or even spindry your salads, in your own sock that is..before adding it to your fresh luchbreak worthy "Goldfish club Sandwitch"!!!..INSANE! You just gotta love this guy..he's brilliant! The dentist..the christmas turkey story....man,... i can go on for hours! Edited April 22, 2009 by Danny...
jimscott
British humour is very different from American humor. But yeah, there's a few of us on this side of the Pond that appreciate it. We get a lot of Britcoms on our public broadcasting network (PBS) and Mr. Bean is one of them. He is quite clever! The oyster sequence was great!
mobile
Do you get Blackadder on PSB Jim? Just as funny... and Queeny in series 2 is fantastic
jimscott
Unfortunately, no. We don't even get Red Dwarf. I had to rent the DVD's to see the series.
mobile
There was a new short series of Red Dwarf on over the Easter weekend, called Back To Earth. Keep an eye out for it.
Guest hunt1404
I'm actually quite a fan of some of the American stuff that we get over here - Flight of the Conchords is a personal favourite. Do you get The Mighty Boosh over there Jim? It's not to everyone's taste but I'm just intrigued as to what you guys make of it!
jimscott
Ironically, I haven't of either of them. Oh well.
calek
I find Mr. Bean absolutely hilarious!!! Specially his faces. The oysters in the handbag was probably the best bit of the movie in my opinion. My brother isn't to fond of Mr. Bean these days, he used to be obsessed with Mr. Bean when he was younger. jimscott
The oyster portion was definitely the best! The dancing to the music scene was also very good. Edited April 26, 2009 by jimscott
JuliaFond
Mr. Bean is always funny! Mr Bean's Holiday is a delightful, enjoyable and occasionally funny road trip movie and Rowan Atkinson is once again flawless as Mr. Bean.
