Hi,

I would like to know if someone could help me: is it a H.heterodoxa Ptari?

I've bought the plant for three months, and, it has just finished two new leaves.

If I must take more pics, or tell a precision, please, say to me it!

It is most likely H. heterodoxa; but, beyond that, determining its specific origin cannot be gathered from the photos. Even in the wild, there is great variation among individuals in the same population -- dependent upon varying amounts of water, Tb, and sunlight exposure . . .

In a first time, I would be sure that is a H.heterodoxa, because, some friends think it is a hybrid, and particularly, H.heterodoxa x minor.

Does anyone know something about my plant?

Thanks Stefano.

It's heterodoxa x minor to me.

François.

Are you sure?? for me is a H. Heterodoxa x Nutans because this plants is high and close, the nectar spoon is little high, different from heterodoxa x minor that is low and wide and the nectar spoon is high and large, deep inside....

This is my heterodoxa x minor :

This is my opinion ;-)

Hi,

Final leaves:

Funny plant, but sure, it's not hetero from Ptari :).

Judging by that final photo, illustrating the large size of the plant, I now would have to agree that it is a hybrid -- most likely H. heterodoxa x minor; H. minor on its own, rarely achieves that size, even in the wild . . .
