Hello, ;)

Here are my efforts at outdoors CP growing in a desert region.

My minibog shows excellent progress. :)

From late spring or early summer:

N. sanguinea....It got eaten by a colorful grasshopper!

N. Lady Pauline - look at the leftmost leaf. It got eaten by the rainbow grasshopper! I was able to rescue it from the hungry insect just in time.

Looking good Jimmy! The mini bog is certainly progressing well. Im glad I dont have to worry about grasshoppers eating my nepenthes :sun_bespectacled:

Looks like a nice open mix that you're using for your nepenthes too.

Soon enough winter will be here and there will be no more troublesome grasshoppers!

And yes, I am leaning more towards more aggregate-based Nep mixes and starting to move away from peat and LFS. It's a very slow process. :sun_bespectacled:
