franklin
hello this is some pics of my heliam: H. minor H. tatei (Huachamacare) H. nutans H. heterodoxa (Gran Sabana) H. heterodoxa my first adult pitcher. I bought this plant since 2004, from wistuba. H. chimantensis H. pulchella (akopan) H. neblinae var. viridis H. neblinae H. neblinae 'red clone' (not very red, i'm agree)

franklin
thank you. And just a question: what do you think about my H minor ? I have a doubt about it
Phil Green
Agreed, very nice Heli's and great setup. And just a question: what do you think about my H minor ? I have a doubt about it I could be wrong, but I think it looks about right. The general size/shape/colour of Heli's is very dependant on the level of light they get and can change quite considerably. kisscool_38
Salut, Very healthy and pretty Heliamphora I think your Heliamphora minor lacks a bit of light but is healthy. I saw it on the French forum but I have a doubt about your Heliamphora heterodoxa (Gran Sabana). It's more like to be an Heliamphora heterodoxa from Ptari Tepuy
Langy
And just a question: what do you think about my H minor ? I have a doubt about it Hi, Franklin Nice collection of Heliamphora. From the second I saw your first photo I knew it was labelled wrong. I would say that its a H. heterodoxa X minor hybrid. The extreme 'dome' of the nectar spoon, and red strip at the back of the pitcher are classic a give-away! Regards Langy
Sockhom
Congratulations! A great collection of helis! Is it a nice H. exappendiculata on the left, close to the Pinguicula? François.

An D Smith
Beautiful plants and a lovely collection. I agree with Langy, your minor is really minor x heterodoxa. The heterodoxa 'Gran Sabana' is almost definately the Ptari form, the nectar spoon is a of a classic Ptari shape and although widely named as such, your nutans is the 'giant' form which is most likely ionasii x glabra. I hope this is of some help.

Chunkyhunks
WOW! Incredible plants! With any luck, I'll have a collection like that someday as well. Although, that's a ways off, considering I'll be receiving my first heli this week. ^^; Edited October 13, 2008 by Chunkyhunks

Markus
Hi Franklin, very nice and healthy plants though they are not much coloured. Do you grow the Heliamphora in the chamber shown in the last pitcher outside? H. heterodoxa (Gran Sabana) I do not agree with Andy. I'm quite sure that this is the typical H. heterodoxa from the Gran Sabana. H. het. from Ptari Tepui looks different and has more slender pitchers and a different nectar spoon. Cheers, Markus

franklin
thank you very much for all your answer very nice and healthy plants though they are not much coloured. Do you grow the Heliamphora in the chamber shown in the last pitcher outside? yes, they are in a terrarium in my greenhouse. They was only illuminate by sun (full sun during the morning), but they are not very coloured, as you say. So i added artificial light this summer, i wait if the new picthers are more coloured. Langy
This is my gran Sabana (It come from Jean Jacque Labat, i hope it's the true^^) Hi, Franklin Im sorry to say again, but I dont think that this plant is labelled correctly either! Personally I would say that its a H. heterodoxa X ionasii hybrid. The old pitcher on the left of the plant, is the typical shape for this hybrid, where as H. heterodoxa "Gran Sabana" is more slender and not so wide at the pitcher opening, even in low light levels. Regards Langy
