Spring Pics! Bucky's Bogs

Recommended Posts

I thought I would post some pics of my bogs this spring. Most everything is in bloom now and pitchers are starting to opening. I didn't divide many plants this year as I wanted the bogs to look more full. I will post more pics once all of the pitchers are open.

Nice growing area :sun_bespectacled: , i wish my garden would be big enough for something like this and the climate too.

But most i like P. lutea and P. primuliflora, or is it P. pumila.

Best regards,

Dani

You still have a lot of lawn that could be filled with even more!

I would love to have a greenhouse for Nepenthes but I would not want to heat it in the winter. It gets pretty cold here.

looking great but don't you have birds? the blackbirds in my garden would have that taken apart in minutes for grubs if it wasn't netted!

We have birds but they're not interested in the bogs. The only trouble I have are squirrels digging in them and burying their nuts! And then in spring, digging in them to fry to find their nuts.

Okay I'm completely just awe stricken,

my barrel bog has been nailed by idiot siblings

my flower(my only sarracenia flower) have been removed along with some of my plants that I constantly put back in.

Just a pic that I took that I really like. You can see the Sarr pitchers and flowers and also flowers of P. Caerulea.
