Tim
gooner, that was *very* funny. Bugweed, are you sure Glenn Campbell doesn't owe you for his hit song about the Wichita lineman, who's still on the line?

Its time consuming, backbreaking, and pays low, but hey, I'm not trying to support a family here, and the moneys enough for my plants . I'm thinking of changing to a fast food resturant later on. Who knows, mcdonalds employee now, and owner of the food chain in 20 years . Zongyi

toof
For the last 7 years I've been a pioneer of sorts, as a male dental hygienist. In the last couple I've started the last major challenge in my life, hopefully. I'm back in school as a sophomore dental student. Can't wait to get back to my 4 day work/3 day bogging week. Guest Est
Wooh, student. 11th grade as it stands, but school's starting to come to a close ( 'only' 9 more weeks ). While I'm just a highschool student, I'm definitly specializing in what I want already; I'm taking AP biology currently and next year I hope to be taking a biology class at UCSC (UC Santa Cruz). Hopefully I'll be going there for college, they have a wonderful biology program, and the best astrophysics in the country ( I beleive it's the most credited place for astrophysics works :-) ), and an AWESOME arboretum to boot! Not quite sure where in biology I want to go, just not medicine (pharmaceuticals I'd be willing to do, but not be a doctor). Well, knowing that there're so many chemists here will be a thing to keep in mind. ;) --Jonathan T.
TwoTon
To feed my family, I co-manage a computer game localization company, and also work part-time as an interpreter (consecutive) for German/Chinese. Oh, the question was "what do you do in REAL life?" Why, I play with my plants, what else!!

ChrisR
I've been trying to work out a good title for what I do ... I work for a small company programming and analysing and supporting software... I develop websites ... I build computer networks ... make the tea ... you name it. But in my 'real' life I split my time between: digital photography; developing my own websites; entomology (specialising in parasitoids and running the UK Tachinid Recording Scheme http://tachinidae.org.uk/); keeping CPs and a few orchids. I have a feeling my girlfriend should be in that list somewhere too Chris

Greg Allan
I've just started a new job as a university lecturer, although it's very tempting to spend all day messing with the CPs when I'm working at home!
