A while ago I strew some gemmae of the mentioned plant, they're growing nicely. Is this plant the same as D. scorpioideus f. gidgegannup?

Eine Gigantenform eines skorpionsförmigen Gottes??? :banging: Scorpioideus?????

Sorry, for poking fun at you! Couldn´t resist!

I´ve wondered about the same. Hm, I´ll ask Thomas Carow...

I saw a pot of scorpoides at Peter D'Amatos They were very small and had like a 6 inch tall stems like 50% the size of mine...

Maybe his are very small or are mine giant ?? Well if there small they must be very old like at least a half decade.

Hello Amar,

Thomas Carow confirmed D. scorpioides "large" is the same as D. scorpioides "Gidgegannup".

Well, D. scorpioides "Giant" (Giant form) I think is no valid official name. There are only the two forms: typical and large. So, "Giant" would be the same as the "large" form.

Regards,

Andreas

Well pink flowered ones are what I have and they seem bigger than others like the ones at that nursery ,

I would like to get giant and the white flowered forms..
