Nepenthusiast
Hi, I have noticed some of my Leucophyllas smaller pitchers are getting a crunchy, dried out look around the cover, like autmn leaves. I am worried that this will soon attack the larger pitchers. I know this is natural on Nepenthes, but I have not read anywhere that sarrecenia lose pitchers naturally. Does it sound like pests? Perhaps thripes? Please help this is my most precious Sarrecenia. THANKS! -Deme
Guest FredG
Browning from the lid down. Sounds perfectly natural. Just trim to green.

JRFxtreme
If its a sudden wilt of many pitchers, then you need to inspect for rot. Just today I had to cut up my "Tarnok" cause most of the rhizome was rotting. If its just the top of a few pitchers slowing turning brown then its natural, nothing to worry about.
