Two Forms of VFT 'Yellow'

I believe there may be at least two forms of VFT ‘Yellow’. This one I posted before. Here it is again. It is an all Yellow VFT so far.

Tim A. has posted pics of his Yellow VFT over the past several months. But his ‘Yellow’ is different from the ‘Yellow’ Form I posted. Here are Tim A’s pics again.

The above are Tim A. pics.

Mike King has a VFT at least somewhat similar to Tim A’s Form of ‘Yellow’.

After doing some research I believe I may have found information to clarify the situation. There is a yellow Form of VFT which is called ‘Red-Jaws’. Here is a citation of this Form:

“Plant overall yellow or yellow-green, but the inner trap surface has a

narrow red band running along the trap margins, sometimes coloring the

marginal spines (‘red-jaws’ clone).”

Cool, so very possibly two Forms of Yellow VFT.

Next week I will discuss the origins of ‘Red Dragon’ and ‘Royal Red’.

Does anyone know about ‘SouthWest Giant’?

Take care,

Tim, I have linked to your pics from the forum, hopefully it is OK with you.

If it looks like a Duck and quacks like a Duck, it is Cultivar ‘Duck’.
