Which is your favourite nepenthes (highland and lowland)?

Do you mean popular in terms of the most commonly grown plant? In which case, this is probably Nepenthes x ventrata

If you mean popular as in the most admired plant, then it is a matter of personal taste. I would vote for N. bicalcarata, I just love those fangs! :)

wait, i just reread your post. didn't see that you ment UK. oh, and do you mean plants that people have or would like to have? i certainly don't have any of the ones i like ;) . Zongyi

Well, Guys i have some news for you. I met this guy who is an expert in shirt printing and embroidery and he is making shirts with a hamata, aristolochiodes, bicalcarata, ampullaria, and cephalotus. They are gorgeous. As soon as i have my camera i'll show you. the designs look so real that it looks like you are wearing the plant on your chest.

My favorites (at the moment :) )

Highland- rajah, burbidgeae, x tiveyi, hamata, spectabilis x ventricosa.

Lowland- bicalcarata, ampullaria, merrilliana x alata.

Next week it might be different 8)

Hi Julian:

I was wondering which Nep truncata is your favourite the lowland variety or the highland variety. as for me, Nepenthes macrophylla is my favourite, followed by Nepenthes jacquelinae, even though, i don't have one yet. it looks so beautiful
