Decapod73
Ok, only the first one smells bad, but oh my God I'd have thought that "mildew and gymsocks" might have come up in all my reading on Nepenthes in books and the forums! Nevertheless, I was very excited to get my first Nepenthes bloom, even if it is a male ventricosa And a non-smelly flower first: I've kept D. adelae in a terrarium for two years w/o flowers, move one into a jar of water with U. gibba and some sand in the windowsill last July to see if it can survive the lower humidity and lack of soil, and look what it does! Guest Sheila
I've never seen adelae kept like that before. It seems happy like it though. :) How do you stop the algae from taking over the vase?
Amar
Your D. adelae has water as a substrate? How weird!
