Utricularia menziessi ... in vitro

The most of the problem is a sterilization process :? .

I want use smoke water to pretreatment, question is when, before sterilization or after that but then seed will be probably contaminated  .

Is there anyone who have experience with treatment GA3 or with smoke water then move seed to invitro process :?:

I hope there are some people who try invitro of hard germinated seed like byblis, tuberous drosera ...

Please, any info will be helpfully.

Given the propensity of most utrics to produce plants from stolon, leaf, flowerstem cuttings, I wonder whether leaf cuttings would work in vitro for U. menziesii (they don't just laid on a pot of soil - I tried one). Easier than germinating seed if so.

I successfully placed U. longifolia in vitro from leaf pieces. These were just the usual 1% sodium hypochlorite for 10mins and 5x water washes. The leaf was sterilised whole and then cut before placing on 1/3 MS salts & vitamins + 20g/L sucrose + 6g/L agar + 1.0mg/L BAP. Plantlets formed from leaf and petiole tissue. Raging success. I was not so lucky with the U. reniformis put will repeat soon.
