Neil Cornish Posted October 18, 2006 Report Share Posted October 18, 2006 Once the flower has died the part of the plant where the flower came out of will turn black and after several weeks to a month the seeds will develop inside this black sac. Try taking off an old one and rub it over your open hand. If there are seed present you will see numerous tiny black seeds on your hand.
