Frank
Hello all, I enjoyed my trip to the EEE in Bonn yesterday. Many other visitors will agree with me, when I say I bought too many plants. Thanks to the name tags I have been able to put a face on some usernames from the forum. :) Here are some of my pictures from Saturday (the first day). First of all, there was a small exposition of plants. A small selection of the highlights follows. A nicely finished 'Australia' pot with some pygmy Drosera clumps, D. adelae and Cephalotus. (and a stray U. subulata and bisquamata  ) Several flowering Byblis species (liniflora, gigantea, filifolia...). An impressive N. lowii with 3 upper pitchers in perfect condition. A setup for Pinguicula on a rock. I don't know if these plants can be actually grown this way? How do these plants (especially the ones on the top) receive water? A flowering H. neblinae. Then of course, there was the sales space. A crowded overview. Hmm... that t-shirt looks familiar. Where have I seen it before? :-k Vaclav from czplants.com (I think?) on the left and Lukasz (Nepenti) on the right. I have to say that Czplants had quite special species for sale: several petiolaris complex Drosera, P. antarctica, D. arcturi, D. stenopetala... Christian Klein was present with a wide selection of Nepenthes. Amongst which N. aristolochioides... ...and N. Viking! Naturally Wistuba sold some special Heliamphora (several H. ionasii, H. chimantensis...) . Let us not forget about the collection of the botanical garden... ...which pictures have been removed (see JanW's post below) I don't have (good) pictures from the lectures, but I have seen that Mr_Aga has filmed most of it, so I expect him to post his videos. Hope you enjoyed the pictures! I enjoyed the day anyway. :) Frank
Amori
Simply marvellous! I knew I should've attended, but I know I'd had a heck of a time bringing home a dozen plants. Thanks for sharing, Frank! Cheers Amori PS. Pic 14 with the flowers is Strelitzia, most probably S. reginae.
Neil Cornish
I've been waiting for some pictures of the EEE so thanks for being so prompt. Looks like there were some amazing plants for sale and I'm very envious of all that managed to get there. I'm sure there will be more photos to follow once the weekend is over. Regards Neil
lil_flytrap_kid
If I could have attended I definetely would have! Some spectacular displays of CPs! Also, I would have come back, struggling, from those stalls because of all the plants I would have bought. Thanks for posting the photos :)

JanW
It was very nice to meet you. Great photos, too. The botanical garden does not allow photos from their plants to be shown in public places like this, better take them offline. No problems for the pictures with the vendors and their plants of course!
