Guest seedling
I was thinking of trying my hand at TC. I was wondering has any one every tried to TC a Ceph? If so are they difficult?
Vertigo
You definately deserve some sort of reply. ;) I don't know anyone personally off of the top of my head that has tried Ceph's from TC. From what I have heard though is that they still tend to grow pretty slowly. It's rather hard to get them sterilized as well. I'd say if you have the room, times and supplies, go for it. I know I would. Then you could wave it in all our faces when you succeed.
Guest Aidan
The Dutch nurseries that mass produce a limited range of carnivorous plants for the garden-centre trade seem to manage to do it. They are however doing TC on an industrial scale and have all the facilities.

Guest seedling
Hawaiian botanicals has been looking for a company to TC Cephs for them. They however do not TC themselves.

Guest seedling
I had tried to buy a ceph from them they told me maybe next year if they divide them or sooner if they can find some one who would TC them. That was two years ago, this past summer they said they still had none for sale.
swords
I believe Triffid Park (in either Australia or New Zealand) had Cephalotus available in 10 plant flasks. This was a couple years ago now and I don't even know if they are still in business, search the web for their name and see if their homepage comes up. CP2k
Yes, TP in Au is still around and still sells the cephs in flask. I have heard that even in TC they grow very slowly. Too bad TP does not have P.sp.Sierra Obscura anymore Hopefully, someone is cultivating it...
