V.J.Treasure
Hello all, in 2005, Philipp Gießibl, a GFP member organised and guided a wonderful trip through the moor of Amerang, a (in Germany rarely seen) botanically (especially of cps) rich area around the town of Amerang in South-eastern Germany. We saw, besides some nice orchids, the following for Germany usual species of carnivorousplants: D.anglica D.intermedia D.rotundifolia P.vulgaris U.intermedia U.minor U.australis Enjoy: U.australis: D.intermedia: P.vulgaris: D.rotundifolia: A nice pond: http://i26.photobucket.com/albums/c122/Tre...05/DSC03198.jpg[/img] Greetings, Valentin
Guest arthur
Very beautifull but I prefer the landscape of pinguicula corsica
Khelljuhg
Very nice place! :) Is the D. anglica in the pic perhaps D. intermedia?
gardenofeden
Great to see the habitat shots, thanks very much for posting. Very nice place! :)Is the D. anglica in the pic perhaps D. intermedia? I think you are right, the scape coming out horizontally from the rosette is a characteristic of intermedia. bear in mind though that the European anglica is much smaller than some other forms and it is often difficult to tell it apart from intermedia unless you have the two side-by-side, when it becomes obvious. V.J.Treasure
Yep it´s D.intermedia, I think I´ve just mixed up the pics somewhere... The D.anglica didn´t grow that wet but between grasses near P.vulgaris
