jimothy
hi there. since the hibernacula opened up my grandiflora have had very curled leaf margins. At first I assumed this was because the leaves were young, and would open out more as they aged, but the plants are flowering now and there's no sign of any change in the leaves. Is this indicative of something I'm doing wrong? The plants are potted in coarse peat, and stood in a shallow tray of water. the peat stays moist at all times. visee
Hi, Mmmm, I think your plant is not a grandiflora. Judging from the picture, I think your plant is a P. vulgaris. Jan
jimothy
Interesting - may have been mislabelled when I was given it. Would that explain the rolled leaves in itself, or is there more to it than that?
Julio Alberto
I think your plant is not a grandiflora. Judging from the picture, I think your plant is a P. vulgaris. I agree. Would that explain the rolled leaves in itself? Yes. :)

jeff 1
I think also that it is a p.vulgaris not a grandiflora subsp grandiflora it is sure . jeff
Amori
The tubular structure of the flower as opposed to flared (and large!) is also a dead giveaway when comparing vulgaris and grandiflora, respectively.
