Guest denisoliver
Hello everybody, last summer I bought a Genlisea at a convention, which is undetermined. Now it flowers for the first time, maybe someone could help me to find out what species it is? An uncommon species (africana / subglabra) might be possible. The photos aren't to good, but I hope they will make it. I'd be grateful for any help, Best regards, Denis
Bob H
How large are the leaves Denis? The leaves are similar to the Gen. uncinata I have, but I have no flowers yet.

sundewmatt
The only somewhat common Genlisea in cultivation from Africa is G.hispidula. G.margaretae was a recent introduction which myself and others have been spreading around a bit but which is still quite rare - and your plant doesn't look like mine. Only recently did I get seed of G.subglabra, or what is supposed to be this species. I have heard G.africana may be in cultivation but I'm not sure if this is accurate. I'd guess you've got hispidula.
