CPs in Hong Kong and Macau

Recommended Posts

Well just got back from a two week holiday in Hong Kong with a couple of days spent in Macau for good measure. Found a few CPs whilst I was out there so thought you lot might like a look. I know none of these plants are rare, and Sundewrex posts photo's of these quite regularly, but it was still nice to see them for myself. Hope you enjoy.

Drosera spatulata found at Pokfulam reservoir on Hong Kong Island.

If anyone knows what species the Utric is then I'd be interested to know? If it isn't one then please excuse my ignorance.

Regards Neil

Guest Sheila

No matter how common they are in cultivation it is always nice to see them in their natural environment. :)

That definately looks like a utric, dunno which one though.

Neil, Nice pics!!!

I like your posting about Hong kong Cps :D

The utric is U.caerulea,it is flowering time so we can see them everywhere.

Valentin, 8) they can also be found on Lantau island, lamma Island,Kowloon Peninsula.....

Keep coming Neil, you will find more interesting wild cps in my country, such as D.peltata,D.burmannii , D.indica especially the lovely one D.oblanceolata.

Thanks for sharing :D:D
