U. ochroleuca - CP in Mt. Hood NF - PART 1.5

Here are some pictures from the bog near Mt. Hood where Noah claimed it was too dark to take pictures.

As you can see, this site has significantly more grasses crowding out the Drosera rotundifolia and D. anglica than most other bogs. The low light did affect image quality, particularly when I had to use the flash...

But the Drosera at this site weren't that exciting anyway, considering that the same bog also hosts sympatric populations of Utricularia intermedia and the uncommon U. ochroleuca.

There are so many beautiful CP sites near Mt Hood. I wish I'd been able to take pictures that were even half as good when I was there.

It's nice to see pictures of them. :)
