BillP
Hi all, So, I bought an Drosophyllum at the AGM and it has now expired under my careful "care". However, it set some seed and the question is do I sow now while they are fresh or save until next year to get a longer growing season? Guest Sheila
Drosophyllum grow well over the winter months even if they are quite small plants, the cold doesn't appear to bother them too much. Just sow a few seeds now and save some for next year just in case you do have problems. If they germinate in the next few weeks the plants will be a fair size by the end of the year anyway, Drosophyllumgrow quite fast.
Guest Christian Rudat
drosophyllum seeds germinate the better the fresher they are. I would sow them now. As long as they don't get a freeze the cold doesn't bother them. Christian

Bill Get them sown now Bill - the sooner they're in the better they germinate. I find the plants to be tough beasts once settled (watch it, mine will die now.....) if a bit of a mess! Any plants from down under yet? 8)
