  1. The universe is growing everyday and it will continue to grow so that means more planets like earth. there could be millions of earths already out there and maybe different plants that grow to climate change and some could symbolize other things in their language like how roses are love in our earth maybe there is a carnivorous plant that could symbolize something to them also not only that even a plant would be considered a alien and can they grow on our earth/

  4. Hi, Used to draw pictures and take photos. Unfortunately my camera is broken, but my pencil isn't - so for the first time in about ten years I started sketching again. I work with photoshop as well to give cool touches and effects. I want to trade/sell this stuff in the future. Therefore I'd like to know if people are actually interested, otherwise I'll just create some stuff for family, friends and/or my own room. :) - I'm able to sketch costum stuff from for example photographs of your own plant(s). I'll also upload some photographs of my set-up/collection occasionally. Currently snapping with the camera of my phone. 6. Hi there im wanting to soon grow my cps in a different area with out cacti and stuff.but i dont know what to grow in.what would be better a small plastic greenhouse a glass tererium or a grow tent.i like the grow tent and tererium as my plants will stay indoors in my house.my collection is small around 4 plants at the moment but will be growing as all do.i have a budget of around £40 remember i will need to get some lights not matter what as now in autum/winter we hardly get sun light so im scared if my plants will die.at the moment im growing all plants in a large plastic greenhouse housing 50 plants all together.i might also get a humidifier as humidity is low but in tereriums i dont need one.pls help me:) - Sabian

  10. Since we introduced the easy-to-keep Bio-Dome growing concept, there has been interest as to when they might be available in the UK (& elsewhere). The Eden Project down in deepest and rather remote Cornwall are now stocking them but the best news is that they supply by mail order here Or find it in their section called: "A fabulous range of Christmas gifts all £10 & under" on the flowers and gifts section of the Eden Project Shop website. Each Bio-Dome unit contains two plants of a selected all-red cultivar of Nepenthes ampullaria x ventricosa. called Nepenthes 'Lady Luck'. This by the way is the same cultivar as Nepenthes 'Bloody Mary' which is sold by a Dutch nursery as large plants. (same clone, different name). We've tested and successfully grown this cultivar down to 10 deg C and up to 40 deg C but it's not yet known what it's actual limits of survival tolerance are. If anyone finds out that it will survive temperatures outside this range, please do let me know!. And here's a pair of plants of Nepenthes 'Lady Luck' (or Nepenthes 'Bloody Mary') at about 1 year old.
  11. I found this on Kickstarter a while ago and though to myself "If i had $250 spare and they shipped to the uk I'd love to have a go at making a glowing VFT" http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/antonyevans/glowing-plants-natural-lighting-with-no-electricit?ref=search what do you guys think? pretty cool huh?
  12. So i had this idea, instead of the usual pictures of plants that everyone posts i think it would be cool to see some pictures of people posing with their plants, think of them as plant themed selflies if you will without the nudity. Bonus points for comedy and originality, ill post my effort shortly. hopefully this will provide us with a few laughs.
  13. Hi there! Here you have a ton of pictures of my plants. This year they are doing well in general, in spite of the late waking up because of the cold spring. Well, I don´t have any garden, nor a greenhouse, so my plants depends on the wishes of the weather, so I can´t have plants as beautifull as most of you, but this year we had a nice summer and plants have coloured up properly! The plants displayed in this pictures are outside all year round. Sorry, there are no particular order in the pictures. All species are mixed together, the picturs don´t follow any special order. Feel free of asking whatever you want to know about my growing conditions or whatever! Plants are all labelled, but Sphagnum has overgrown the labels and you can´t barely see them. I have to trim it of. Click on the pictures to enlarge them!! JULY To be continued!
