Hi, I recently ordered a bunch of nepenthes to get into the hobby. These are my first highland species (I have 4 hybrids and they're doing well). My delivery took a week and it was quite hot during that time. Most arrived in a very good state all bagged with a bit of sphagnum and paper towel but one bag already looked a bit poorly when they arrived and those 4 are now crashing hard. Within 12 h of potting them into 1:1 rinsed long fibre sphagnum : perlite and some bits of live sphagnum on top to hopefully have a nice cover at some point. I put them into a propagator to keep the humidity

Hello from Yorkshire! I've got a little collection of CPs including a VFT named Vinnie the Third that I've had for four years now. I've successfully grown sundews, VFTs and Sarracenia from seed. I've had a Nepenthes for about a year now that I bought in the hope that I could keep it alive and it's doing miraculously well so I'm going to try and grow a highland species of Nepenthes from seed in the next couple of weeks. Any advice for growing these from seed? Thank you in advance!

Hi everyone, I am Griff! I'm new to growing Carnivorous Plants, and I am interested in growing Nepenthes. I just got my first CP on Wednesday, a Nepenthes x. 'Ventrata', at my local greenhouse. Can't wait to learn more about growing this wonderful plant. Can't wait to hear from you guys.
