  1. My P. chilensis have done very well this spring, despite being set back during the winter by freezing winds (will do better to keep them from drying next winter). The flower looks white in the photo, but the colors are inaccurate due to the fluorescent lighting (my temperate Pinguicula are moved in towards the end of spring to protect against hot temps during summer). In reality, the color is a very light lilac.
  2. Hello, I was wondering on what types of rock people are managed to grow Pinguiculas. I have seen people grow them succesfully on tufa and other types of lava, but I was wondering if they could possibly grow on rocks like basalt, Maybe if I have the space next year I will try some different types of rock, but it is going to take a while to see if it hurt the plants. I am curious what your experiences are.

Hey, I'm pretty sure I have aphids on my Pinguicula (I was given it as a gift and not sure of what type) I have segregated it from the rest of my carnivorous plants but I'm not sure how to treat them, anyone got know anything more about controlling aphids? Cheers!
  5. Hello Many say salads have all the same flowers and have no interest. Exactly sake of this plant is just the flower
