  1. Hi sheila, I've just packaged up all my seeds for this year's donation. Can you please tell me the address to send them. Much better harvest this year. 41 bags! Sent from my C6603 using Tapatalk
  2. I've got mine under a dome so the humidity is pretty much 100% and under bright lights (the same lights I grow heliamphora). It did go into decline a few months ago. The leaves got smaller and smaller. So I repotted it and it recovered. You might want to take some cuttings and perhaps try repotting it. Sent from my C6603 using Tapatalk
  3. The link to Christian's posting of D regia in the wild are here: But unfortunately the links to the actual photos are broken. Christian? Any chance you could repost your wonderful photos again? Mark
  4. Hi Yossu Wow, I've never had a regia flower and I've been growing them for around 10 years. Do you grow them inside or out? I'm growing mine inside and am wondering whether they need more of a seasonal temperature change. You also mention that your plants never grow more than five leaves. Have you seen the photos posted (I think by Christian???) of the D regia in the wild? The plants shown in these photos only have two live leaves each. This makes me wonder whether my growing conditions are quite different from those in the natural habitat of D regia. I think I'll try growing some of my plants outside but sheltering them from the worst of the UK winter. Mark
  5. My D. andromeda is currently growing ok. It is the first time I've grown it. I live in the UK (East Anglia) and have it on a windowsill that doesn't get any direct sunlight. It is under fluorescent tubes and the temperature range has been 20C-28C during the recent hot spell. It seems a bit more hardy than D schizandra. But just in case I took leaf cuttings as soon as I got it. You can see some sprouts in the bottom left hand side of the photo. They appears easy to propagate by leaf cuttings. I've potted it in peat/sand/perlite (40/40/20) mix. If I can keep it alive for another season I might try my hand at D. schizandra (again). Mark
  6. I love seeing shots of CPS in their native habitat. Especially in places where I never imagined they would live. Thanks for posting. Sent from my SHIELD Tablet K1 using Tapatalk
  7. Success!!! I've spotted three seedlings. I thought there were a couple more but I think they got washed away during the heavy rain. I hope these seedlings develop the same brilliant colouration as Ada's plant. So what do I label this plant as: "red darlingtonia" or "Alpine farms" or "Mike Wang"?

  9. I had really good germination rates from the batch of D regia seeds that I received from the CPS. Thanks for the fresh seeds Sheila! Sent from my C6603 using Tapatalk
  10. Sorry for the typo, I meant D californica Sent from my C6603 using Tapatalk
  11. You could try some of the native species: D rotundifolia, D anglica, D intermedia, P grandiflora and perhaps some of the cold hardy pitcher plants: S purpurea and D california Sent from my C6603 using Tapatalk
  12. Seeds arrived today in good condition. Many thanks. Sent from my C6603 using Tapatalk

  14. Is that a roridula growing next to the H folliculata? Sent from my C6603 using Tapatalk
  15. FB is good for quickly posting photos and short comments. But imho forums are better for in-depth discussions and people without ADHD. And the content of forums is search-able too.
