  1. which media you use for that plants? what's difference? thank you Piero
  2. my experience is that bigger is the pot and bigger is the plant. if you have space, put the plant in garden, will became giant! for compost i use very "rich" terrain(i have no other words to say it ). you can conseider that plant like a strawberry . pollinate the plant is very simple, you can use the pollen of the same plant. when you do this correctly, the top of "female reproduction thing"(ahhhhh i don't know english!!!! ) will close simillary to a dionea trap(more slower). i have sow 10 days ago, ibicella lutea, proboscidea louisianica and proboscidea parviflora, 4 of each. the seeds have 2 years. 2 seeds of proboscidea louisianica have born yet! bye Piero
  3. Hi to all! i've some experience with ibicella (and proboscidea). i've treat seeds by put them in warm water for 3-4 days(i had place them over neon ballast of my terrarium). i sown them 3-4cm deep in large pots(it don't grow very well in small pots). you can fertilize this plants and will grow better. it flowering very soon (when plant is 20cm tall) but i think is better remove first flower and wait untill plant become a bit larger. i hope you understand my bad english:) bye Piero
  4. i've sow fresh d.regia seeds like a capensis. now i've 2 nice seedling bye Piero
  5. i've tried the second method, it work and you finish quickly, but i've much result with the "classic "method. classic method: about 100% germination freezer method: about 40-50% germination bye Piero
