  1. Wow. I actually want to laugh when I see this (not because anything is really funny) because I wouldn't have pictured that flower coming from that cactus. I mean, yeah, it's incredible, but seems to be out of place. I love it, I'll need to get one for myself.
  2. That is cool if it is a hybrid. It is certainly unique looking, I love the spots everywhere. Do hybrids have a good chance at reproducing or do they tend to live and die without spreading?
  3. Virginia is a beautiful state. I've been there a few times and was amazed at how much there was to see and do. It does get a bit too hot for my taste, but the beauty sort of makes the suffering well worth it. Glad you had a nice trip.

    Peanut

Awesome! I never thought about growing them myself, but it sounds like a good idea. I love peanuts so maybe next season we will look into it. Do you have any tips or tricks for a newbie?
  5. I think people aren't as interested in this type of thing as they used to be, which is a shame. I know some governments will help with funding, but not sure about the case here. Sorry, I can't watch the video because something is going wrong on my computer, so if I'm repeating things in it then I feel bad. I just wish there were a way to make these things permanent.
  6. Adding music isn't very hard. Do you have any editing programs on your computer? Most computers used to come with Windows Movie Maker installed, but I think now they come with Windows Live Movie Maker which isn't very good but still easy enough to use. You just upload a file to the movie maker with your video and drop the file over the video and save.
  7. Oh wow, that video didn't turn out bad at all. I love watching because they demonstrate such grace in the air. It is almost as if you could put some classic music to the video and it would turn into a piece of art. Thanks for sharing.
  8. Oh wow. I hope they do find a way to keep it open as it would be nice to one day visit. I am sure the current citizens would love to keep in their area just as a break from the typical scenery.
  9. I thought the dragonfly was a nice touch too, and shows how massive this is! Great pictures and really beautiful flower, I wish I had some of these near me as they never fail to impress me.
  10. Wow, that's a lot of web! Did you ever coax anything out? Thanks for adding an i.d. I have never seen any of these near us, but can't say I'd like to after your description.
  11. I didn't think of that actually! Good thinking. I was too excited by the idea. I wonder how/if they will solve this problem. It is still an exciting idea, so many in another decade we will see something that won't be a danger and will still help with our needs.

  13. I'm a bit new to all of this, but are orchids supposed to grow in trees? This is crazy and I bet it is so beautiful during the day time! I'd love to see something like this for myself.
  14. Wow, I've never seen a flower quite as pretty. I think I am going to look into getting one of these. I love cacti, they certainly surprise people, especially when they bloom. Gorgeous flowers.
  15. You are going to have a lot buzzing next year! I love the sound of bees though so it wouldn't bother me much. It is sort of relaxing and they can really brighten up a boring day. Hope you're enjoying your bees.
