I use Hermes for all parcels, I do not see a problem if it takes longer than 3 days as all the international parcels take anything from a week or two to arrive or longer with no health problems with plants
I agree with Fred I sow my seed once it comes off the plants for darlingtonia, dionaea and drosera you will get germination now and some will germinate over the next year or so.
I recently sowed some dionaea on water and after about 3 weeks they have now germinated so I will sow a load more soon.
Plenty of uk sellers on ebay for seed.
Facebook is the place to be you make better connections with people, it is friendlier, you see more plants as pictures can be loaded in seconds.the experience makes a forum look antiquated
I love this part of the listing
These young plants have been grown from seed and kept in a cold greenhouse for the past 4 years (temperatures below 28°F/-2°C in Winter).
I am sure the dutch nursery he buys them off like all his other plants will disagree

I hope so I have not heard so much bull
Oh dear!! Again agree with the others looks like fertiliser or some mineral issue, I know from a recent ferltiser trial that didn't work your plants have the same dying back issues, but I repotted them on the first signs of black showing on leaves.
Tidy your plants and wash off any soil and just plant in peat and perlite as Ian said and just fill the pots do not firm the compost down and just plant your dionaea, they will grow very happily.
I agree with Ada looks like fertiliser, on some plants I tried out slow release pils the leaves start to go black, roots rot off and if you leave it too long the whole plant roars off.
If you catch it quick enough give a good wash and plant in fresh fertiliser free peat and the plants generally recover
The price to Europe is the same no matter what country it is the weight of your item that makes the difference.
If you can keep the item below 100gms it will cost £3.20 (off the top of my head) the next price is £3.70 up to 250 grms
We all know the post office does not like you sending plants to France and Italy, but as on countless topics before do not tell them what is in the package...lie! I tell them stationary or craft samples and they do not bat an eyelid.
Or more simply for dionaea, drosera and small sarracenia buy boxes that fit in to the post box and print your postage via paypal for your ebay sales. You can buy large letter thickness boxes quite cheaply on ebay.
And for parcels to within the uk use hermes which is cheaper than Royal Mail and they will collect from your door or safe spot no questions asked.
Royal Mail are happy to screw you over on their prices so a little white lie about that is in the package will do no harm.
Same here I had a few which are big bulbs who didn't wake up for winter...would smoke water applied to their compost during late summer help wake them up? Or is ga3 the way forward?
