  3. Really nice to hear that Marcel, really fascinated with the history of this endagered species. A nepenthes in my whishlist.
  4. A new beginning... 1º- Remove all the plants and soil 2º- Clean it 3º- Silica sand for layer 4º- Fogger, sphagnum moss and plants

  6. In Azores there are no references of cps. The sphagnum may have went there via birds or other explanation. Just in "Portugal Continental" not our islands you can found cps, like Pinguicula lusitanica, Pinguicula vulgaris, Drosophyllum lusitanicum, Drosera intermedia, Drosera rotundifolia, Utricularia australis, Utricularia gibba and Utricularia subulata (this one there are no recent references).
  7. No, just a normal thing, i think gypsicola is one of the firsts Mexican Pinguicula to go dormant.
  8. In the first photo it´s going dormant.
  9. They catch prey too but smaller like juvenil flytraps do.
  10. Drosera capensis red needs to have plenty of directo sun light to turn red... if not it will look like a typical one.

    My Sphagnum

    Looks like it´s dried sphagnum, don´t have many hopes that it will grow.
  12. You can separate a portion if you want so you can have a pot with only that plant.
  13. It is a carnivorous plant... up the surface you have the leafs and after the flowers, under the surface you have the root system with the bladders, that catch very tiny insects or protozoa for example.
  14. Exists Terrestrial Utricularia too, do you see those litlle green leafs near your Dionaea? Those are the leafs of the Utricularia.
