  1. Hi Richard, I'm sorry about your seedlings. I sowed mine at the end of the last May (I'm not sure about the date, but I think it was the last May). The seeds were fresh, so I had no problem with germination, they germinated with no GA3 or smoke treatment. In my experience Spring is good time too. If you sow these seeds in the Spring, I think that it won't affect seedlings. Best regards Jakub
  2. Hello, What might cause chlorosis of B. liniflora? Is there any way to save my seedlings? I thought about using very weak solution of orchid fertilizer. I keep my seedlings in a terrarium, temperatures are 30*C during day and 20*C at night. As a source of light I use 2x 32W T8 fluorscent tubes, one 15W compact megaman plant lamp and a southern windowsill (but it's built in a loggia type balcony). Soil is made with a peat and a silica sand, probably in 1:2 or 1:3 ratio (hard to say). Best regards Jakub
  3. It's definitely Drosera regia.
  4. My Heliamphora heterodoxa x minor is doing well on windowsill.
  5. It has some dew on it's cotyledons. It seems it luckily will survive.
  6. The flies shouldn't harm your plants if you kill them first. This method of catching fruit flies is very effective if you use apple cider vinegar.
  7. Hello, I was trying to rid off fungus on soil in pot of Byblis liniflora when small seedling flowed with stream of fungicide. I've planted it gently. It still has cotyledon and seed coat on it and I think it was about to start rooting (it germinated few days ago), will it survive? Only one/two seed(s) germinated so far (I'm not sure if second seedling is B. liniflora). Best regards
  8. Hello My name is Kuba. Since childhood I'm interested in carnivorous plants, especially Sarracenia and Drosera, now I found time and money to cultivate this fantastic plants. I also like tissue cultures.
