  1. Enjoyed looking through these, love the mini bog! Thanks for sharing!
  2. Sorry I probably should have used some grammar to make more sense of that sentence. I bought it a few months ago, the picture was taken 2 weeks ago. It has been growing well and looks healthy, plenty of new growth since purchase, the only thing I have noticed is that it does seem to stay closed with prey longer than my other VFT's. I need to re-pot it but havent brought myself round to it yet!
  3. VFT-Typical by WhenIWake, on Flickr The one I picked up from them about 3 months back! Was surprised to see nice looking VFT's in Homebase! haha
  4. Ive used it to make a BBQ dip before! haah. never heard of it being used for seed germination, this could be interesting!
  5. Nah dont think they're DeathCaps. They tend to grow pretty isolated, in close proximity but an inch or so apart. .. Still wouldnt eat them though! haha
  6. Im still keeping my eyes open to find some in habitat! Thanks for the photos :)
  7. Found this on another forum, dont know if it helps or answers your question , It does make sense thought. "Seems logical that, just like CPs: If its a plant that naturally grows in an environmment where plants go dormant in the winter, then it needs a winter dormancy. If its not, then it doesnt.. The type of plant should make no difference.. (and where you personally live is also irrelevant..all that matters is the native climate of the plant) Scot "
  8. They dont look like the kind that would get stolen by local kids, so they should be safe! haha
  9. I have only used LittleShopOfHorrors have recieved healthy plants and had no issues!
  10. I love the fuzzy tooth.
  11. Thanks :) As I said before, ive not had it very long and it was an intense red when I recieved it (from littleshopofhorrors). Since ive had it, it has been kept in a bright north facing conservatory and left out in direct sunlight when the oppertunity arises. I dont know if littleshopofhorrors keep them grown under lights or whether its natural light, but it was an intense red on arrival. Ill wait until next season to see what color comparison can be made between my care and the care from the nursery. There is another 2 small dews growing in the container, one red and one that looks like a normal d.capensis. Will split them out when in few months.
  12. As a current "Probie" I think that the 30 days and 20 posts is about right. Most other forums I have been on havent had limits but have had a stark warning in the sticky of the sales thread saying "Buying from new members or members with no feedback is stupid and is done at your own risk" .. fair enough stopping Probies from selling on the forum but I think buying for new members should be up to the individual seller, kind of like on ebay where a lot of people say "I will not accept bids from users with 0 feedback" Just my 10 cents, as a noob haha.
  13. Moorland Gold- TheOrganicGardeningCatalogue £12.65 for 40L (£11.65 +£1 shipping) I ordered from them earlier in the month and had no issues.
  14. Need to get the barrel ordered and start mine!
