  7. Hi Steve Thanks for your reply. It was my understanding, that Alata was growing pitchers into early autumn like Leucophyllas. I'm just concerned that it wont go into dormacy and be weak next year. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  9. Hi everybody I have a Sarracenia Alata, which still produces pitchers. Is this common to this species? I keep it in a cold house, and there has been some brief chills. A few weeks ago we had -8 degree celsius, but then i put some candlelights out there, since I also grow some Leucophyllas. Anyone else experiensing this? Sorry for my spelling :-) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  11. Hello CPUK I was a member of this site aprox. 10 years ago. All my plants died during winter-dormacy, so I stopped. I'm a Sarracenia-entusiast! Now, after 3 tours to Afghanistan, I've settled down, since the mission is closing down. I'm engaged and I've got a garden, and I want to start to grow Sarracenias again. I've bought some plants to start off. Mostly Flava's and some large clones and hybrids. I hope this site is as social as it used to be! Regards from Denmark
