  1. So the thing that some older clones have been discontinued is true . . . Thanks for clearing this up Andreas. Here's my clone, it is still rather small, I believe it is "clone T"
  2. I though those pitchers were from the same plant? I have to admit that I've seen those pictures . . . whatever that clone was it seems that it has been discontinued from what I've heard. Also that first pitcher looks like the older pitchers of the second AW plant, it could bery well exhibit the peristome in the second picture later on. N. macrophylla is a variable species (some might debate its an ancient hybrid). A lot of plants in the wild that are classified as N. macrophylla look quite similiar tio the ones above. It would be interesting if Andreas could comment on this further.
  3. I decided to get an N. macrophylla from Andreas, and I have to say that it convinced that it is the real thing. It fits the descriptions I've read and seen, and other smaller plants from other sources. It is very vigorous and never slowed down since I received in November 2010. I know someone else who has a much larger clone from Andreas, and it is definitely a N. macrophylla. I feel that I have to say that in my experience, Andreas has sent very good quality plants. Sure some are on the small side, however they have all been very healthy and survived. I say that is what you pay for more econominic prices, I recently recieved N. tentaculata, N. tenuis, and N. artistolochioides from him and I was very happy with them. I also know that he honours his customers when they claim a plant arrived damaged or dead by replacing them. It is very hard to control conditions once you drop off a box of plants to a courier, it is no longer under the watchful and careful eye of an experienced grower. I just wanted to add my point of view from what I have experienced.
  4. Thanks for the comments everyone! DanH - I've had my truncata for over a year now... I've had veitchii for less, I had it in a terrarium for a while but moved it out onto the window a few months ago, doing a lot better. Missed these! N. spectabilis x aristolochioides - another good performer N. ventricosa "Cream Pitchers" for Thez_yo
  5. N. inermis - doing surprisingly well in low humidity... N. rafflesiana - upcoming pitcher B. liniflora Finally, but absolutely no least, N. truncata "pasian" - biggest pitcher so far And here's everything! Enjoy!

  8. Hey everyone! I've been mauling over about getting this plant, and I was wondering if any of you had one? Any pictures? It would be much appreciated!
  9. Very beautiful! I especially enjoyed the Cistoflora and D. trinervia 'Baines Kloof'
  10. A beautiful specimen of Darlingtonia! Perhaps this plant isn't as difficult as some people say. Great job.
  11. Very inspiring, a truy striking species, and it is awesome you got some variability in there.
  12. Very interesting, I really enjoyed it. Here is the link I found worked for me (I'm in Canada) http://www.dailymotion.com/video/xgvb5m_bb...-3-4_shortfilms
