  7. Vincent, sometimes the lower temps are Higher!!! it is in my house so if the heating is on during winter temps can be higher! i usually put the plant in my greenhouse for a "summer" holiday where temps can be 45c-12c , but it actually grows better in the terrarium time will tell as i now have a "nep house" so will be growing everthing in there as soon as i get a cooling system, temps have already hit 50c in there this year!!! this picher was buried in the moss between 2 pots so i guess Villosas may colour better in shade!??
  8. Thanx guys, this is how i grow it have done for 4 years peat perlite & moss its in a terrarium at the moment 18inchs from 2x 36watt t8 lights temps are 25c- 18c!

  14. N.Bellii is a Lowlander so this plant may appreciate a warmer more humid condition
  15. Sorry i have only used it on Seedlings
  16. I use H2O2 too! i just pour a dilute solution (3%)over seedlings give them a little more air, then repeat 24hrs This was reccomended tome by Greg Bourke, you can find more info on "Hydrponics" forums

  18. Heres some photos of my "Large" Terrarium I finally have a greenhouse to fill with my plants! I made this Box as a "temporary" winter home for my plants but ended up using it for over a year, in that time i "amassed" too many plants, which seems to be a problem of mine snaps 570 by elvis g, on Flickr Heres what Came out of the BOX snaps 1062 by elvis g, on Flickr Veitchii x Maxima , Mira, Glabrata , Argentii, Drosera Adelea & Leconopteris Sinuosa snaps 1059 by elvis g, on Flickr Aristolochioides x Spectabilis & Peltata x "?" snaps 1056 by elvis g, on Flickr Flava x Sib (2 clones) , Sib x Trusmadiensis , Vogelii & Ventricosa xEpiphiata snaps 1055 by elvis g, on Flickr Miranda , Muluensis x Lowii , Lowii x Ventricosa , Sib x Talangensis , Spathulata x (Vent x Max) & Talangensis snaps 1054 by elvis g, on Flickr Truncata, Izumeaea x Maxima , Spathulata x Jaq , Boschiana x Densiflora snaps 1053 by elvis g, on Flickr Spectabilis , "Gothica" , Lowii x Campanulata , Burb x Platychilla snaps 1057 by elvis g, on Flickr Sanguinea snaps 1058 by elvis g, on Flickr Bongso snaps 1060 by elvis g, on Flickr Ventricosa snaps 1061 by elvis g, on Flickr Lady Pauline snaps 1063 by elvis g, on Flickr Whats left!! Hardy aroids

I have grown Arisaemas outside for years In my "shade garden" i have mounds of soil , i plant the courms at ground level with gravel beneath them this saves it from sitting in waterlogged winter soil, the mound serves as the "growing area" & protects the courms from frost i have had A, tortoisium A ,speciousium A Tryphyllum A, Candidisium A, Ciliatum A, costatum growing in my garden for a while, hoping that they coped with the last WET WINTER!! I have Sauromatum growing I raised beds they seem to like full sun or dappled shade and seem "bomb-proof" to me I also have a miniature Typhonium (un-named)which is similar in size to Arisarum P but has "velvety looking leaves with a red tint" it maybe "Horsefieldii" one down fall to having Arisaemas in the ground is that they dont always face the right way!! My "prized" Arisaemas are overwintered in a greenhouse ,in their pots and "plunged" into the garden when they are ready to grow (you can easily rotate the pot to face "forward")
  20. Just moving into my greenhouse! or OUT into it! ????? my plants will be on mesh over large home made "water trays" (bench-top pools) so hope that will do a good job with Humidity im also looking at "rainmaker" systems designed for Vivariums Apparently you can have "timed" cycles, so you can get it to spray whenever, or u can hook it up to a "Humidi-stat" the systems ive found were £100-ish, & pump from a Resevoir (water-but) at 6bar pressure & u can have 15 nozzels!! Im as yet undecided, but if anyone hads used or is using one---"Wats it like?"
  21. NICE! is it from "wild collected seed"?? Ifso it could be a natural hybrid with Argentii !
  22. there already is RAFF x TM!!!!
  23. my favourite Hybrid is "the one that looks best at that particular time!" Flava x Sib (by Dicon) is always a good performer for me! My "Wish list is Argentii x Villosa " x Black Raff Villosa x Sib And with out meanig to sound "Vulgar" Rob cantleyii x Rebecca Soper
