  1. Hello from Cluj and welcome to the world of carnivorous plants. I've also started with a venus flytrap and soon ordered lots of plants. Would like to talk more, few people grow CP in Romania. Good luck.
  2. I don't like negative feedbacks, but here is my experience with Robin P. In his first post and topic he was selling some Pinguicula, I asked him about the Pinguicula Emarginata, he replied that one more person is wanting them and that he would let me know who will get the plants. He replied: 1Sent 28 May 2011 - 23:41 PM Hey, ok you can have the 2 Plants. I need your address and country. what do you need for information that you can transfer me the money? 2 Sent 28 May 2011 - 23:51 PM Oh sorry i've got a mistake. The plants are sold. sorry, but do you interested about the beautiful hybrids ore the neps seeds? No problem so far, ok the guy made a mistake in sending the message to the wrong person, but now the same plants are available since yesterday on the sale topic of the forum. I don't like this kind of behavior, and can't help imagining that this 16year old person is not a true cp grower. I mean, you register and start selling plants in the first post, throw people of, you get them, no you don't, oh wait I sell them again. Thank you,
  3. I think nepenthes x ventrata
  4. Thank you guy, as they are my first pictures in the cultivated plants section I am glad you like them. I'll try to keep up the good work. @manders, keep me posted on those cuttings(rooted or not)
  5. Yes I know, I does look-alike with "Hot-lips" but I think the later one has a dark-red coloration of the peristome. @Manders, I know you have some interesting clones in cultivation, by any chance are you willing to sell a cutting?
  6. Yeah, I know it will get very big, very fast. I'm gonna be in trouble pretty soon, ampullarias, bellii are allready 50cm tall and a big leaf span. Oh well, make way for a bigger electricity bill :)
  7. Simply stunning pictures and of course it's the plants merit for displaying so much dew. Congrats!!!
  8. "Borneo Sunset" is a cultivar name given by Borneo Exotics for this clone made available for purchase from last year.
  9. I just want to share a few pitchers of my ampullarias: Nepenthes ampullaria x sibuyanensis: A small bicalcarata getting bigger:
  10. I suspected the problem came from the soil, it did well for the first months after I received it and them suddenly started to decline. I changed the soil with the usual sphagnum moss peat and pine bark(did not have any pine bark the first time), placed it in a shadier\a little less hot region of the terrarium and waited. The only difference is that in the mean time I bought an humidifier and it had constant humidity over 80% and not having everything soaking wet by praying the plants. And I rarely watered it(no need because of the humidity).
  11. It's time for an update. The plant recovered slowly and now it has started to grow nicely....here is a photo:
  12. Be sure to check the output in lumens of the bulbs. I have 23W cold white and warm white putting out 1500 lumen each and my heli minor is nicely coloring up and doing good. I know it's an easy to grow species. Be sure to use reflectors as well, my tank is made entirely out of mirror glass. And I see that water is dripping of your plants, maybe to much humidity??
  13. Cut them!!! and send\sell me a cutting
  14. 100% Nepenthes x hookeriana, mine used to look like that when I bought it from a garden center.
  15. What kind of mold appears during the night, in ~12 hours and if you clean it never appears again...
