I use an app called Ninox. It’s a fully customisable database. You enter your own fields, choose what fields to show on the overview and can print of lists etc. Because it updates to the cloud I can access it via iPad, phone and Mac . Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Mike King's autumn open day 14th of October
Richard replied to Mike King's topic in Open Days & Events
I'll be there Mike! -
To be honest, they don't need rescuing. They are propagated in their tens of thousands for the houseplant trade and are practically disposable. They die, and are easily replaced on the next order.

It's something to do with Tapatalk. I don't know how to fix it though [emoji38]

Make sure the greenhouses are bolted down securely. They may look heavy, but they will move in the wind. Maybe not enough to blow over, but they will 'creep' ever so slowly, twisting the frame and putting pressure on the glass. Choose your spot carefully. Maximise the amount of sun it will gather for Sarracenia. Make your base larger to accommodate water butts and maybe done outside trays for growing purps. Make sure you are buying the biggest you can afford. You will fill it up quickly, and an extra greenhouse/base if far more costly!

Anybody had problems with Carnivoria.eu?
Richard replied to Richard's topic in Carnivorous Plant Websites
Well they refunded my money. But to be fair, I would have preferred my order of plants but they chose the easier option. No explanation, no apology just a refund. Lesson learned and I don't order from them again. -
Anyone ever had any issues with Carnivoria.eu? I placed an order with them in February for a number of Utricularia species but have not received delivery of them. I have followed up with David via email twice. First he stated he had to check his postage receipts. I followed up a short time later and he said he would send it the following week (24th April) when the weather improves. A week later another email to say he has to check his postage receipts again. I have recently asked for an update again but have had no response. I really want the plants I've ordered but don't know whether to

Must admit this has been my only gripe with the CPS. It's a great organisation, and I appreciate it's run by volunteers, but there needs to be someone to respond to membership requests quicker. I had similar issues when I first joined over 20 years ago. Paid my membership and got no response back for some time. When I questioned the membership secretary at the time I got the old it's run by volunteers and have to fit it in with their everyday lives. Whilst I appreciate this, I had also parted with my hard earned cash and wanted to know my membership had been actioned. In this day and age,

Hardly a day goes by that I'm not snapping pictures either on my phone or through a camera. Thought it's time I put them somewhere for all to see [emoji4]

Wow! That is a beauty. I've never grown any temperate Pings other than grandiflora and vulgaris. Is this one any more difficult to grow? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Not sure which is correct but, I've always struggled with how to pronounce this one. Is it... 1) Kates-bee-I 2) Cat-ez-bee-I Or something complete different [emoji15] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
