See I never looked at them in such concept, but now I realize you are right:-) They resemble small pitchers to some extent:-)

Hi Calek,

Thank you so much for sharing these pics Dieter, they are beautiful (particularly the prostratoscapa in flower) :-)

Yes, Frangelo, that is where she falls asleep as I tell her fairy-tales and sing lullabies

Here is a current picture of the mother plant, it is in flower now so my task No.1 is to pollinate her successfully so I can get some seeds to try in vitro.

Just beautiful! You are doing a great job growing that baby:-) Good luck in the future as well!

Hi droseraman!
Thanx a lot. Unfortunately, I cannot provide you with the update, because I have space issue and all but the mother plants had to go. I can post a pic of the mother plant though, it is flowering now. Just yesterday I tried to pollinate her. My conditions are simple, lots of light, high humidity, distilled water, and temps between 18 and 30C. To me, not a demanding species, really. I had to put much more effort into growing other helis (like tatei) successfully.

Hi Iggy!
Stunning picture quality and the plants are great as well. Most of my tuberous sundews have not sprouted yet, only d. erythrorhiza ssp. squamosa just shot through the surface. It grows very slow. Is it a slow-grower for you too? I give it 10-18C.

Wow Petr!
Very beutiful plants! I like the different ascendens localizations particularly! Good job!:-)

Adam, finally I get the chance to see pictures of some of your plants. I have to say, your brazilian girls look even prettier than I imagined. Love the camporupestris. The other plants as well, of course! Your menziesii woke up early this year or is she always on this schedule? Mine are still sleeping. I hope they will go on thriving for you!:-)

LMAO, one of the funniest things I have ever seen! it is amazing that someone can come up with something original like this, people never stop surprising me:-) I dont think I would put this kind of "art" on the wall in my living room, but it is definitely something to see:-)

I took some pictures today, my Hali has been blooming for a while now. Now I am waiting for the pollen from the first flower to ripen , so i can pollinate the second one. never done this, so if anyone has an experience doing this< I would be more than happy to learn how to do it:-)
Here are the pictures:-)

I love the picture where it grows literally like weed on the side of a road:-)

these are all being grown outside, we are having a very sunny and dry autumn this year, so the plants look happy (even though the tropicals might complain a bit about 5C at night;-). Will have to move them inside soon as we are expecting first frosts in Slovakia. ( I apologize for blurry pics, I will get better camera soon). No colours added, all natural.
drosera lasiantha and mannii
drosera mannii
drosera nitidula ssp. allantostigma x omissa
drosera pulchella
drosera capensis
drosera dielsiana & spatulata
drosera aliciae

This might very well be the most beautiful artificial bog I have seen.
Great job! :-)
