  1. Their reply to my question:- "Dear Mr Armitage Thank you for your email. We add no fertilisers or mix in any other compost to our Irish Moss Peat, each bag contains 100% peat. I hope this helps. Regards Jo Redshaw Customer Services Westland Horticulture Tel: 0870 066 3566 www.gardenhealth.com www.twitter.com/TheGardenDoctor -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I intend to use your moss peat for cultivation of insectivorous plants. Can you assure me that your product is unadulterated moss peat with no added fertilisers or composts ? Many thanks.
  2. Just read the notes above about Westland which I've been using so am in a panic now ! I even rang them to check the peat wasn't adulterated with fertiliser or anything (and they said not) !
  3. I've registered for this forum for some time without saying anything so thought I should introduce myself briefly. I joined UK CPS around 1982 and stocked up with Marstons and Potterton and Martin stuff, most of which I still have but found growing in Yorkshire a bit harder than when I was in Bucks. Maybe greenhouse shading, maybe compost, maybe low winter temperatures. I can grow Darlingtonia and Cephalotus OK but trying to understand why I can no longer keep Heliamphora.
